Thank you for visiting our Free Services Campaign information section. Here you will find information on how you can benefit from the free services on offer. These services are free to join and are available from all mains gas and electricity suppliers.

The scheme is available to all household gas and electricity consumers who:

  • Are of pensionable age or
  • Have a disability or
  • Are hearing or visually impaired or
  • Have long-term ill health

Please note:

These Free Services are available to all mains gas and electricity consumers who meet the above criteria. Some services require you to be in receipt of a means or income tested benefit – please refer to our leaflet for more information.

At this time they are not available for consumers using Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Simply view our leaflet to find out more about the services on offer, such as gas safety checks and the password protection scheme. As you will see there are many free services available and you may choose one or all of them, the choice is entirely up to you.

It is quick and easy to register, simply complete the online registration form which we will send off to your supplier on your behalf, or alternatively call energywatch for further information and/or to register via phone. As soon as your details have been sent through to your supplier you will receive a welcome pack introducing you to the scheme.

Why not take part in our online survey which will help energywatch assess whether we are reaching the very consumers who are currently missing out on these services. We would also welcome your feedback and suggestions on what you think of the current services on offer and what suppliers could do to improve the scheme. We will use this information to work with suppliers to ensure that the services on offer continue to meet consumer needs.
